“We were so proud of the result of our debut album that we knew it deserved a vinyl release with a bonus track as well as a brand new vinyl master. The bonus track which was originally only released in Japan is a cover from X Japan, the biggest metal band in the country, X Japan. We had a lot of fun performing the song “Blue Blood” live many times, and during the recording of Unchained, we decided to record the one The result is energetic and heavy, just like the speed metal classic should be! Join us and our wonderful label Rockshots Records who were open to making those wishes come true by celebrating the one year anniversary of our debut album, and we hope you enjoy what we have to offer with these releases!”
The vinyl was mastered by Svante Forsbäck (Rammstein, Volbeat) at Chartmakers Studios, and will be released alongside the digital single “Blue Blood (X Japan Cover)” on October 7, 2022.

Founded in 2017, Thy Row first entered the Finnish scene with their self-titled EP released independently in 2019. The record’s lead single “The Round” reached over 110,000 streams on Spotify and added to the accolades of the EP which gave the band the opportunity to tour Japan in 2019 with Beast In Black and Swallow The Sun.
After the success of this EP, Thy Row’s offered their debut album, a fresh mix of the best heavy metal with modern hard rock that all metalheads can knock their heads off. With ten tracks, there are plenty of great melodies laced with shaky riffs that are sure to encourage fans to crank their stereo knobs up to eleven and enjoy.
Unchained features guest artists Ben Varon (Oceanhoarse, ex-Amoral), Ilja Jalkanen (Raskasta Joulua, Kiuas) and Teemu Mäntysaari (Wintersun, Smackbound) and was mixed by Jussi Kraft (Starkraft Studio) and partly by Nino Laurenne (Sonic PumpStudios).
