Fans of TOMBOGO can now customize their favorite parts in a customizable workshop called âTOMBOGO Requires Assemblyâ.
Tommy Bogo’s emerging fashion brand has partnered with iconic experiential retailer Fred segal for the pop-up boutique experience at Fred Segal’s flagship store, Sunset Boulevard, at 8500 Sunset Blvd. in Los Angeles. The assembly required by TOMBOGO opened on July 3 and will run until July 17.
The workshop allows guests to personalize rooms with different removable color panels. TOMBOGO items available to customize in the pop-up include the brand’s signature double-knee convertible pant and coordinating chore coat, available in a range of colourways as well as unique hand-sprayed and paint-splashed prints exclusive to Fred Segal – New styles of trucker hats and a re-supply of the best-selling Freelance capsule, which includes t-shirts, hoodies, crewnecks and shorts.
TOMBOGO will also launch its first furniture design project, the TOMBOGO Double Knee Coffee Table, at Fred Segal’s flagship store. The coffee table features a pair of TOMBOGO double knee pants encased in acrylic and set on a black steel frame. It was produced in collaboration with Bogo’s close friend and furniture designer Das Audie.
TOMBOGO debuted at New York Fashion Week in February for the fall / winter 2021 season and is known for its multifunctional, durable and distinctive design pieces. TOMBOGO has been worn by celebrities such as J Balvin, Lizzo, Kid Cudi and Kehlani. It has also been featured in publications such as Hypebeast, GQ and Squire.
