K-pop group The Boyz will embark on their first-ever world tour, spanning North America and Europe, next month, their management agency announced Thursday.
The 11-piece band will kick off “The Boyz World Tour: The B-Zone” tour in Los Angeles on May 29, IST Entertainment announced.
These will be the band’s first live concerts in front of overseas fans in about two years and five months after touring major European cities such as Berlin and Paris in 2019. But the boys have never had a bigger tour in North America and Europe.
After Los Angeles, the group will perform in five other American cities, including Chicago and Newark, before moving to Europe for shows in four major cities such as London and Rotterdam.
Seoul will be the final leg of the tour, with the band scheduled to perform four concerts at the KSPO Dome from August 5-7.
The group debuted in 2017 and rose to fame by finishing first in Mnet’s music competition program “Road to Kingdom” in 2020 where they competed against other boy groups like Pentagon, Golden Child, and ONF.
He is set to release his second Japanese EP, “She’s the Boss,” on May 27. (Yonhap)
