South Korea: BTS The ARMY is concerned if the group’s famous show “Run BTS” takes a “long hiatus.” It all started after a clip from behind-the-scenes episode 156 of Run BTS went viral on social media. In the clip, J-Hope, RM, SUGA, and Jungkook can be seen discussing what they’d like to see in the show’s new season. Suga mentioned that he would like “something like Episode 1”. Soon RM called out their name and Jungkook’s name, but added two years to their current age. This left ARMY members wondering if Run BTS will take a two-year hiatus. For the uninitiated, Run BTS is a reality show that features all of the members of the K-pop septet – Jin, RM, J-Hope, V, Jimin, Suga, and Jungkook. Well, all Korean men between the ages of 18-28 are required to serve in the country’s military for about 20 months, BTS members are no different. In December 2020, the South Korean parliament passed a bill allowing top K-pop stars, including BTS, to postpone their compulsory military service until the age of 30. However, group member Jin will turn 30 next year. Besides Jin, BTS member Suga is also 28, while J-Hope is 27. RM is 26 while V and Jimin are 25. Jungkook is the youngest of the group at 23.
