Today (October 7), Ozuna released his new 18-track album ozutochi. The Puerto Rican superstar has collaborated with many reggaeton heavyweights like J Balvin, Chencho Corleone and Feid.
ozutochi follows Ozuna’s latest album, 2020 Enoc. Across the 18 new tracks, he gives reggaeton music a sleek electronic update that reinforces his mystique as the genre’s most alluring artist. Ozuna also released the music video for the magical “Mañana” where he sings about an adventure that turns into a romance.
For the scrapbook perro of resistance moment, Ozuna has joined forces with the pioneers of reggaeton music and top artists in the sexy “El Cel.” It draws on the roots of the genre with Chencho Corleone, Arcángel and Randy. Colombian superstar J Balvin completes the stellar collaboration. Ozuna also supports reggaeton newcomers like Feid who features in “Hey Mor” and Danny Ocean who goes for “4:22”.
Ozuna also taps into his Dominican roots by embracing many of the country’s genres. He mixes reggaeton and dembow alongside Dominican rapper Tokischa in the powerful “Somos Iguales”. Another dembow banger on the album is “Perreo y Dembow” featuring Dominican actor El Cherry Scom. In the frantic “Un Lio,” Ozuna puts a new spin on merengue alongside Dominican icon Omega.
Among the pop artists who appear on ozutochi are the Argentinian singer Tini in the dreamy “Un Reel” and Pedro Capó in the tropical “Mar Chiquita”. Ozuna is currently touring the United States on the Ozutochi Tour. The final leg of the tour will take place in Miami on December 9.
