My Dress-Up Darling TV anime reveals January 8 premiere in new trailer, visual


The official Twitter account of My darling in disguise TV anime, which adapts Shinichi fukudathe mature romantic comedy manga series, revealed the series premiere date alongside the artists of the opening and ending theme song Tonight. A new trailer and visual have been released to celebrate the news.

Singing the opening theme song will be the J-Pop group Spira spica the performance of “Sansan Days”, while Akari Akase performs the ending theme song “Koi no Yukue”.

Young Gangan Magazine has chapters of My disguised Darling in Japan twice a month since the start of its serialization on January 19, 2018. Square Enix releases the manga series in English, describing the first volume as such:

Traumatized by a childhood incident with a friend who took offense at his love of traditional dolls, Wakana Gojou, a hopeful doll craftsman, spends his days alone, finding solace in the reception room of his high school. For Wakana, people like the beautiful Marin Kitagawa, a hip girl who is always surrounded by a crowd of friends, is practically an alien from another world. But when the cheerful Marin – never the type to be shy – spots Wakana sewing one day after school, she barges in in an effort to engage her quiet classmate in her secret hobby of cosplaying! Will Wakana’s wounded heart be able to handle the invasion of this sexy alien ?!

The My darling in disguise The television anime is directed by Keisuke Shinohara and presents an animation produced at CloverWorks. The series is scheduled to begin airing in Japan on TOKYO MX on January 8 at midnight (effectively midnight on January 9).
