Kpop return June 2021: Seventeen, Monsta X and Twice lead the way

June is shaping up to be a big month in the K-Pop world as huge groups prepare to release new music.

Twice seem to bring the summer vibes with their next outing while Brave Girls, Riding the wave of their delayed Rollin ‘success, get ready to show us what else they have up their sleeves.

There are also some big guns in terms of boy groups in June. The K-Pop icons EXO are back with their first group comeback in two years since Obsession in 2019.

On top of that, there will be something for Seventeen, MAMAMOO, GOT7 and Monsta X fans to be very happy with.

Brave girls

The Brave Girls are in a good position after their four-year-old single Rollin ‘has found its second wind, and many are eagerly anticipating what they will release now as they pay more attention to them.

The girl group’s label released a teaser for their music video but did not reveal the song’s title or a release date.

Thankfully, the six-member boy group didn’t stray away from the dark, sleek concepts they became known from thanks to the look of Gambler, the title track from their One Of A Kind mini-album.

MAMAMOO – Where are we

Member Solar said Where Are We is MAMAMOO’s story over the past seven years together, revealing their “joys and struggles”.

It comes after she and her fellow bandmates Moonbyul and Hwasa renewed their contracts with their company RBW, with an update on Wheein yet to come.

EXO – Don’t fight the feeling

Don’t fight the sentiment, you’re as excited about this comeback as we are.

Before Baekhyun and Chanyeol enlisted, they took the time to help with the comeback preparations for one of SM Entertainment’s biggest boy groups.

They join Kai, DO, Sehun, Xiumin (and Lay judging by the teaser photos) for a brand new special album with a futuristic theme.

TWICE – Taste of Love

Hoping for some summer vibes from Twice, who returns with Taste of Love.

We were really big fans of Can’t Stop Me last year, so they’re going to have to bring their A-game next month.

June 15

BamBam – Ribbon

GOT7 rapper BamBam has a new company and now new music, becoming the latest member to reveal what he can do after JYP Entertainment.

We can’t wait to hear some explosive party tracks in the same vein as Party or Cold, but hope we get to see its serious side too.

June 16

ONEWE – Planet Nine: Alter Ego

The ONEWE rockers return with their first mini-album in mid-June after too long a wait.

Until the 16th, consult some of their awesome K-Pop covers to reassure you.

June 18

Seventeen – Your Choice

Out of Nowhere Seventeen surprised Carats with an animated teaser titled Power Of Love. This was followed by the announcement that the boy group will be back this month with their new mini album Your Choice.

The Pledis Entertainment group has been immersed in American television shows over the past year, performing on the Kelly Clarkson Show in January.
