K-pop girl group Aespa to perform in 2021 Wild Rift SEA Championship final


The League of Legends: Savage Rift The Grand Final of the Southeast Asian Championship (SEA) will take place on October 3. Riot announced that popular Korean girl group Aespa will perform at the opening ceremony.

Aespa is a South Korean group formed by Seoul-based entertainment company SM Entertainment. Their first single, Black Mamba, was released on November 17, 2020 and quickly became the number one Korean song on China’s largest streaming service, QQ Music for three weeks. Aespa should currently Release their first mini album featuring six songs on October 5th. The album and its title track are called Savage.

The SEA Championship is held as an online event, but it looks like viewers will be able to see a performance nonetheless. No performance details have been revealed yet.

The group stages of Savage rift The SEA 2021 championship ended yesterday. The top four teams from both groups advanced to the playoffs, which will run from September 30 to October 3. They will compete in a double elimination table to designate the champions.

The Savage rift The SEA Championship includes 21 teams from across the region. In addition to the $ 200,000 prize pool, the teams competed for two places in the Savage rift first world event, Horizon Cup. After the play-ins and the group stage, there are only eight teams left.

Ten teams from around the world will participate in the Horizon Cup from November 13 to 21. It will take place at the Suntec Singapore Convention and Exhibition Center.
