It’s almost time for ComplexCon, and we’re getting even hotter with the sixth time lineup. This year, attendees will have the opportunity to experience Toyota in a whole new way.
This year, the brand is bolstering its continued support for creative spaces in the Asian and Asian American communities by transforming its ComplexCon booth into an exclusive look at must-have AAPI brands coming out of Asia and brewing in the US. Best of all, the entire experience is curated by Japanese designer Verdy, whose work has adorned countless shoes, apparel, and collectibles. Labeled Verdy’s Brands to Watch, this marketplace will host 10 brands including CarService, Fake as Flowers and See You Yesterday.
But because Toyota loves cars as much as it loves supporting the community, the brand is also teaming up with Los Angeles-based graffiti artist Aaron “Woes” Martin to reimagine one of Toyota’s most powerful models: the GR Supra. Woes is heavily influenced by Hawaiian and American culture, and is known for fusing hip-hop, punk rock, skateboarding and toys to create seismic and vibrant works of art, which he will demonstrate at the unveiling of its spray-painted version of Toyota’s 2.0-liter. Turbocharged GR Supra over the weekend.
ComplexCon kicks off on Saturday, November 19 and will run through November 20. Don’t miss this celebration of day one dreamers! Buy your tickets and get ready for an immersive weekend filled with art, culture and inspiration.
