South Korean group BTS is a phenomenon in itself. Everything the band does becomes a trend and their fans across the world – popularly known as BTS ARMY – make sure they cover the boy band with immense love. Their latest feat is proof of that. Recently the setpet – RM, Jimin, Suga, J-Hope, V, Jin and Jungkook – announced their new UK single, titled Butter. While the song will be released on May 21, it has already got fans excited. The K-pop group also makes sure to follow their excitement by giving them clues about the song.
Recently, the group released the logo for the trailer for their second English song. The trailer is an hour-long video of an animated melting butter drop. For an hour at a time, you hear cooking noises in the background, with some cute emojis like musical notes, the sun symbol, a pair of sunglasses and a heart among others appearing on the screen. The video begins with a rectangular drop of butter that later melts to become a heart after an hour. The video has garnered over 13 million views to date. You can watch it here:

Butter is their second English single after “Dynamite”, released in August of last year. The song is a dance-pop track that promises to respond to the sweet, charismatic charm the band is loved for.
Recently, BTS became the first Korean pop group to be nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Pop Duo / Group Performance. They also deserved a nod at this year’s BRIT Awards in the International Group section. The awards are expected to take place on May 12.
BTS, or Bangtan Sonyeondan (meaning Beyond The Scene), have become global icons since their debut in June 2013. The band members are RM, Jin, SUGA, j-hope, Jimin, V and Jung Kook. The septet topped the Billboard Hot 100 chart three times in 2020 alone, and was also named Artist of the Year by Time last year.
