Building on their previous successful collaboration, Adidas Philippines and acclaimed toy designer and visual artist Quiccs have come together once again to create new shirt designs for the summer.
The Quiccs Summer Pack is part of the shared mission of both parties to showcase products made in Manila and made for the world.
In his latest collaboration with adidas, Mr. Quiccs infuses his love for Japanese robots and hip-hop culture. His passion for basketball is also significant.
âFor this year, our campaign is with the basketball category. We just adjusted and animated TEQ63 to sport, which I am also a big fan of. Filipinos are huge basketball enthusiasts so it’s really nice for me, âQuiccs said in a statement, also referring to his best-selling character TEQ63.
The pack comes in two main models including Adidas TEQ63 sports clothing and footwear. It is available in black and white for P1,500.
Given the opportunity to work again with a brand like Adidas, Mr Quiccs expressed his enthusiasm and said that it inspired him more to create new models.
âOnly partnership is a dream come true. I will always take this chance of my life as an inspiration to give the best of myself to Adidas, âhe said.
Mr. Quiccs’ collaboration with adidas began in 2020 with the local artist’s Superstar campaign.
For Adidas Philippines, bonding with Mr. Quiccs is an affirmation of his commitment not only to inspire athletes, but also to encourage individuals to cultivate their passion and be proud of their roots.
âAt Adidas Philippines, we always aim to inspire not only the next generations of athletes, but also local emerging artists. We want to continue to deliver designs that not only motivate purpose and positive change, but encourage individuals to be proud of their roots, âsaid Jen Dacasin, Brand Activation Manager, adidas Philippines.
âAnd with his love for basketball and his passion for art, that makes Mr. Quiccs the perfect collaborator to see this vision come to life. We are delighted to see our continued long-term partnership with him, and we look forward to seeing where he will continue to lead us in the future. “
