4 4th Generation K-Pop Female Idols Accused Of Lazy Dancing

These four 4th generation female K-pop idols have been criticized for their “lazy” dancing on stage.

1. aespa Winter

According to netizens and attendees of the music festival, the idol danced with little energy and jumped movements, such as the dizzying movement of “Black Mamba”. Additionally, people claimed that she started showing signs of lazy dancing during GOT (Girls on Top) the Beat promotions.

Although many tried to defend her, saying that her hair accessories hindered her movements, others said that idols should always perform with their best energy.

2. IVE Jang Wonyong

On December 3, 2021, IVE performed their debut song “ELEVEN” on “Music Bank.” The girls had to perform a strong hair flipping motion during the intro performance. All the members did, flipping their hair wildly.

People slammed the idol, speculating that she wanted to keep her hairstyle and opted out of the move for her looks.

After the backlash, Jang Wonyoung was seen performing the choreography with more energy.

3. ITZY Lia

ITZY is a group with strong dance skills. However, since all the other members are good dancers, Lia, the lead voice of ITZY, is often accused of being lazy when she performs.

While Yeji, Ryujin, Chaeryeong, and Yuna are always praised for their dancing, Lia is criticized for her weak skills. People claim that although she is often told to improve, she has made little progress over the years. Some even claim that at certain stages she looks bored.

Many have defended Lia, saying that her dancing skills are obviously not as good as the other members since she is the lead singer. However, netizens believe that Lia is dragging ITZY down due to her low skills.

4. (G)I-DLE Shuhua

While Shuhua is famous for her visuals, she is often criticized for her poor performance. Although five years have passed since his debut, people think that the Taiwanese idol hasn’t been able to improve his skills.

Shuhua’s dancing skills are far behind her limbs. What also infuriates netizens is the lack of variety in facial expressions, with many saying her expressions on stage are always blank.

However, after “TOMBOY,” Shuhua received praise for her drastic improvement in charisma and expressions. Still, many hope that she will continue to improve to be more balanced with the other three members.
